Well after my silly crying session in class, David spoke to me and came up with some really good ideas that I can do to move my work forward. I said that I can see mmy work relating towards Vivienne Westwood style, and I told him how I liked the way she changes the rules with basic pattern cutting which makes her garments look quirky. David said my research with the cakes and sweets is quirky aswell. And as I am not a big fan on pattern cutting he suggested that I look at basic blocks and play around with them usoing the colours and the quirky prints I have in my research. FINALLY I feel so much more relaxed and I feel like I have a sence of direction in my work phewwwww...
